The Reiki healing system was discovered by Dr. Mikao Usui in the early 1900s in Japan and is now a very sought after treatment across the western world. The word, Reiki (Pronounced Ray-Key) stands for “The Universal Life Force Energy”.
Rei – Universal life
Ki – Energy
Reiki is a non-invasive healing technique, where the Universal Life Force Energy is channelled through the practitioner to the client. When one’s life force energy is low and been depleted through stress, negative experiences and bad habits, the physical body begins to suffer. This gentle yet powerful treatment tops the body up with wonderful Reiki light boosting the bodies natural healing system.
Here are just a few benefits of this wonderful energy healing techniques;
Here are just a few benefits of Reiki
If we look into atoms past the nucleus, protons, electrons and neutrons, there is just space, which is filled with energy science is still trying to understand. So in essence everything is made of energy.
We are all interconnected energy, vibrating at different frequencies. Reiki is a very high vibrating healing energy, that is not bound by space nor time. Therefore it makes sense that a Reiki practitioner can channel Reiki to someone, or something, that is on the other side of the world, and it does not lose power.
In fact, distance Reiki sessions tend to be more powerful than in person, as there are no physical barriers. The recipient does not have to stress or worry about traveling to the practitioner. Allowing them to be more relaxed and open to receiving the healing light.
I like to take it one step further and send Reiki to people whilst they are asleep. That way they are in their ultimate relaxed state and SUPER receptive to healing as the ego and conscious mind can not put up any blocks.
Although the practitioner can set intentions for Reiki to help a certain issue for the client, both sides cannot be set on a specific outcome from the treatment. Reiki is an intelligent force and flows for the highest and greatest of good, so it may not work in the way that we expect it too. Please do not use Reiki as a replacement for medical intervention, this is a complementary treatment and should be used alongside any medical treatment you require.
